Completely agree about that kid...he was always a miserable wretch. Now I flat-out hate him. He's to blame for what happened.
I hate that the show went there...I don't need character deaths to bring home the seriousness of the situation (looking at you, too, Walking Dead).
“The Strain” to me seems like a play on the colonization of America by virulent Islam.
In the episode of TWD where they were in the department store in Atlanta there was a zombie that used a rock to break the glass door. There was also the zombie wife that tried to open a door. Meaning they don't OFTEN use tools.
Still good to know that a scissor lift is easily toppled, and should be avoided during a swarm event...
Your right! Forgot about that
You should totally go anyway!
Good episode.
Terrifying.
For me, the ultimate bit of terror was when the doctor was on the radio pleading with the helicopter to land and get them out of there.
The helicopter pilot notified her that they were “assessing”. Then they left without landing.
Awesome.
Rick would’a popped the druggy kid like “that”....if’n he’d walk around the corner. dude looks like one of’em I sweaare.
Actually, I think Madison (Kim Dickens) is “Rick” and Travis is more “Carol”....
...ok so he pummelled the rogue army dude...he’s comin’ around.
unrelated...I can’t pick up 50% of what Victor rolls out of his mouth (TV too low? mumbler?) so I keep expecting June Cleaver to pop in and say “I speak Jive”...
Now that you say it, I see a parallel. Personally, I think it's just entertainment.
What did you think of the episode, CJ?
We just watched it. I thought it was a big step up from the previous ones. I’m definitely interested enough to watch next season.
I had to laugh at Daniel nonchalantly leading the walker herd, LOL.
So I just watched. My only observation is that soldier boy Andy in the parking garage was holding his weapon in his mutilated tortured arm hand. Would’ve been way too tender.
The old man clothes that Nick is still wearing doesn’t help! LOL!
I liked this episode much better than the others. The characters are still not very likeable, though.
I completely agree with you about The Strain and TWD... They don’t have to go there to prove a point.
Maybe next season he needs to come back as Smiley, the character he played in Training Day.
The writers made an intentional decision to dumb-down the zombies after the first few episodes.
Yet Morgan couldn't bring himself to off his zombified wife. This hesitation would cost him his son.
If I go, I will let you know.
