Facebook asking for Drivers License/Birth Certificate Info
Posted on 10/02/2015 10:51:53 AM PDT by hsmomx3
So I attempt to get into my Facebook page which I was able to earlier today, and all of a sudden, it is asking me for ID's before I can get to my page.
Asking for a drivers license, birth certificate, pictures, etc.
I've never had this happen!
Anyone else experience this?

Yes I have. I went after some VegaNazis (in an entirely good-natured way or course ;’) and the next thing I know I was presented with the same demand They obviously complained to the management that I was being a meanie).
I reached out to the FarceBook morons and asked what’s up? and they insisted that I comply. I said, “give me $50,000 and I’ll think about it”
They responded back with the same demand so I responded with several paragraphs of gratuitous profanities. They responded by deleting my account.
Mission accomplished!

My computer crashed about a year ago but I have gotten most everything back that I care about.
Except my Flickr account. No combination of ID and password seems to work. When I sought help they insisted they needed a copy of picture ID with a priority of my drivers license.
I guess I will have to do without a lot of really nice pictures of birds that on had on that site.

No, this is not happening to me. Sounds like phishing to me. Don’t do it.

How is one supposed to give FB a birth certificate?
Download the fake one from the White Hut and send 'em that,

It is NOT a phishing scam. This is a legitimate, if godawful Facebook identity check. They have been mostly doing this to conservatives who buy ads on the site. If you have a page that relies on boosting posts, you have NO CHOICE but to submit, but it won't save you. One by one, FB has been permanently "suspending" ad accounts of conservatives to censor our views. And some entire pages -- ones with hundreds of thousands of fans -- are being deleted, especially ones that say anything negative about Islam or Muslim refugees. This is classic NWO control, and it will only get worse. Sorry.

Ads? Gee, I have no ads at all. I never post anything about Muslims or refugees. I see people who do....I try and stay out of that stuff/conversations.

They do that when they suspect you’re using a fake name.
Psst, don’t do FB. It’s evil. If you want to talk to someone, pick up a phone.

Take away some semblance of privacy and the internet is over. Facebook and peeple should realize that.

FB did the same to me, and I don’t use my real name there. After I sent a heavily edited pic of my ID, they replied back that, “We may have accidentally asked for your information, and we apologize,” or something like that.
