spiritdaily.com has that kind of thing, current books you might like, too. Michael Brown was a reporter who encountered God and now is a Catholic icon. He gives retreats, writes books, and host the website. I met him once, very spiritual Godly man. I was impressed. His first book, The Final Hour, is about his encounter and the change in direction of his life.
