As one whose family owns a variety of VW/Audi/Porsche cars it would be disastrous to us, personally, to see the firm fail in this country.
Crazier still are the owners of gasoline versions of those same vehicles joining the unhinged mob mentality.
People need to understand that it will HURT our beloved United States if lawsuits literally chase VW/Audi/Porsche off our shores.

18 billion in fines is nothing short of criminal. I’ve been told the adjusted emissions are also passable. So how much harm was really done? Punishment yes, capital punishment no.

The 3 vehicles parked at my house are ALL VW/Audi
One is TDi purchased just 11 days before the scandal hit the news.
The 500,000 VW/Audi TDi vehicles sold in the US pale, compared to the 11 million sold worldwide. In Europe they are very concerned about this.
I like the car and the fuel economy. I intend to take the TDi badge off, however.
