Do you hear anyone, on this forum, talking about aussie training? All things happen now. What we do, is not your purview. Ever.

I've seen plenty people on this forum talking at times inaccurately about all sorts of other issues concerning Australia - most commonly claiming that guns are banned here when they are not. But, yes, I've also seen comment here on occasion about gender politics in the Australian Defence Forces, most notably a few years ago, when our then socialist government announced its intention to allow women to serve in all roles.

Push for women to fight on front line to improve recruitment

(I have not included posts I've made myself in those examples for reasons that I hope are obvious).

I'll discuss what I decide to here up until a moderator tells me not to. They have a right to say what they want discussed here or not - but I don't think you do. I've been an active member of this site for over a decade and you're about the only person who has ever objected to me commenting on any issue, so I doubt most people agree with you but thanks for your opinion. You're fully entitled to it. But respectfully I disagree. I value my right to freedom of speech, and I think it's important to be honest, not just sycophantic.

What the US does affects other countries. Our special forces cross train with yours, and fight alongside yours. I'm not even close to being special forces, but I served more than once alongside Americans and I was happy to do so because I knew American forces were well trained and well qualified and I could rely on them knowing how to do their job without needing special treatment - not necessarily true of those from every country I served alongside. It actually does matter to me that the United States doesn't lose that. I never want a situation to develop when an Australian servicemen can't trust the professional standards of the American he is serving with. Or vice versa.

I'm one of the best friends Americans have in a world when anti-Americanism is fashionable. But I'm not into concealing my views.
