Not only that, imagine “SUPER BOWL L” written in cursive.

Many in the later generation would think it’s a foreign language.

Last year should've been IL for 49. Didn't they use something different?

Super Bowl L would look weird. It's a shame. Now no one will have a reason to learn Roman Numerals.
