Through all the twists and turns of the Deflategate saga, the legal bickering and in-depth air pressure analyses, the story remained compelling for one reason: It put the reputation of New England Patriots

when one of Trumps Make America Great Again trucker hats was spotted in Bradys locker. Brady explained that Trump had given the hat to Patriots owner Robert Kraft to pass along to the quarterback. Trump, Brady said, always gives me a call and different types of motivational speeches at different times. He said their friendship dates back to 2002, adding that its pretty amazing what hes been able to accomplish. He obviously appeals to a lot of people, and hes a hell of a lot of fun to play golf with.
Then, on Sept. 16, Brady was asked if Trump has a shot at becoming president. I hope so, Brady said. That would be great.
...But he had two chances to distance himself from the nations most polarizing figure of the moment. He chose not to. That would be great is as close to an official endorsement as you can get.
Bradys words carry weight. ...is one of the most recognizable figures in the country. An entire subsection of New England, young and old, worships him

Just IMAGINE the reaction...

The comments at SI are currently running at 95+% anti-Leibowitz.
And people like him are strictly forbidden to support candidates who aren't backing The Agenda, is that it?
Anyone still subscribing to SI is an enabler to paid journalistic hacks like Leibowitz...a leftist zealot who obviously hates Trump with so much fanaticism that he will editorially pack anyone who disagrees with him into the boxcar, including Tom Brady.

SI joins NASCAR, ESPN, and NFL who have a left-wing agenda that has nothing to do with sports and are determined to push it.

Great responses from readers.
But all the rioting in Ferguson, Baltimore, etc. has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama?
It’s sickening to see how politics has become infused into what USED to be a great magazine about sport. What’s sad is that liberals like that author think thewre’s nothing wrong with it, because their whole LIFE is about seeing politics everyplace.
