Sports Illustrated. I remember when they used to be a thing.I hate "professional" sports, but I remember when SI actually used to be about SPORTS.
And then the queers and the pro-sodomists invaded everything...

I looked at the full Sports Illustrated article, and the comments following the article overwhelming support Brady and Trump. Those vociferous comments make Freepers look tame by comparison. :-)

Imagine the hysterics if, in 2008, a columnist had said [some black athlete] needs to answer questions about his support of Barak Obama, whom the columnist had labeled "a polarizing figure".
Just IMAGINE the reaction...

Bradys words carry weight. ...is one of the most recognizable figures in the country. An entire subsection of New England, young and old, worships him And people like him are strictly forbidden to support candidates who aren't backing The Agenda, is that it?

Leibowitz' article is rife with multiple phrases arrogantly and dictatorially ORDERING BRADY WHAT TO DO....i.e., "you NEED to...", "you SHOULD make...", "you SHOULD distance yourself...". His is fascist-speak at its finest.
Anyone still subscribing to SI is an enabler to paid journalistic hacks like Leibowitz...a leftist zealot who obviously hates Trump with so much fanaticism that he will editorially pack anyone who disagrees with him into the boxcar, including Tom Brady.

SI joins NASCAR, ESPN, and NFL who have a left-wing agenda that has nothing to do with sports and are determined to push it.

But all the rioting in Ferguson, Baltimore, etc. has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama?

It’s sickening to see how politics has become infused into what USED to be a great magazine about sport. What’s sad is that liberals like that author think thewre’s nothing wrong with it, because their whole LIFE is about seeing politics everyplace.
