ATLANTA Jordan Spieth already has the best year in golf. Hes one round away from having the richest year in golf history.
Spieth battled through a tough, rainy Saturday at the Tour Championship and overtook Henrik Stenson by one shot with a 2-under-par 68.

Spieth lost his form for about a month. Now has it back. With Rory, Jason Day and Jordan, a great era of golf is now beginning.
Don’t forget Rickie!
Amen...There’s a great group of young golfers coming up.
Yes!!!
I see your point. However, I still place Fowler a half cut below those Big 3. While winning the Players was impressive, he needs to win a major over the next couple of years to be considered elite.
I believe the winner takes home 10 million. I’m buying a set of toy plastic clubs with nerf golf balls for my grandson. He’s only 6 months but hey, you can’t start too early.
When McIlroy said he doesn't have to think about earning money anymore he took some flack. But, this is going to be a running battle for what really matters to these guys - titles and majors. None of them will ever have to worry about money again.
Jordan's putter did his talking today and if it stays hot tomorrow he will be tough to beat.
That said; Fowler's performance in the final round at the players was the best round of golf played on tour this year, IMO.
Thanks for posting. I wasn’t following. HOORAY Spieth

Bump
ditto and how he won the last one too
It’s good to see Jordan back on form. He’s unflappable for so young a player, and has good character.
Jason got poleaxed by that triple bogey on day one and never seemed to catch back up.
I think we’ll see more of Ricky in the future.
Great time for golf, any one of a half dozen or more players can win and you like them all.
You got that right!
Jordan has made some great pars, and played very steady on a difficult course. He says he likes the Bermuda grass, the greens, and the lack of spike marks.
His temporary slump seemed to be caused by his #1 ranking. Hopefully, he’s over that now.
“His temporary slump seemed to be caused by his #1 ranking. Hopefully, hes over that now.”
My thoughts also, I believe he was overwhelmed with the thought of it. If he wins this tomorrow it’ll solidify his confidence in my view.
Totally agree, T_S.
Who cares? Let’s get to the impotent stuff. How is Tiger’s recovery coming? (Do I need the sarcasm tag?)
That's a lot of pressure, for a young guy. Heck, at his age I was pretty overwhelmed by just having to get by in the real world.
I wish him the best, and I think he will stay grounded.
Tiger is like some Greek tragedy where the hero shows us how the concepts of Hubris and Nemesis work. Aristotle said “A man’s character is his fate.” (My annual demonstration of my philosophy degree being worth something.)
