Only in the minds of other LGBTMNLPQ or whatever the heck it is today. I don’t give a shit. If they what to take the hell express, that’s their choice.
That's it. You nailed it. So have you suggested therapy for your daughter? What are HER thoughts at your POV that she has a mental disorder?
There might be on the state and local level depending on where you live.
Your comment about the SF freakshow is on target. Unlike race, sexual preference is not readily apparent to other people. Dress and behave within common business norms and no one Will know, ask or care. What the activists are seeking is a license for aberrant behavior.
I would think the employers need to know what restroom you need to go in.
I don’t hire disabled, blacks or LGBT. All three categories has produced numerous civil and court actions ending in a handful of 10’s of thousands of dollars in settlements with no wrong doing on my part. With the exception of one, every black who ever quit or was fired, caused drama. I settled for $50K with one IT (He?She?) and never found out ITs true gender.
In the early 80s, we had a job applicant that was such a butch lesbian you could hardly tell she was not a man. She turned out to be a highly capable CICS programmer when we hired her.
There was a story of a kid who claimed to be a woman...but was actually a male...and was subsequently fired on his first day.
I would have fired him too...for lying on the paperwork!
Here is the story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/boss-who-asks-transgender-woman-what-are-you-agrees-to-historic-settlement_55f0af61e4b03784e277e215
George Soros and others create these “problems” or “crises” to stir up anarchy and division. A divided America is a weak America, and these people have an interest in weakening America so they can take over.
Sexual orientation is not a “protected class” at the federal level, so that is probably why the category is not included on forms for EEOC compliance.
It is a “protected class” in some states though.
Yes, but the real question is:
Was she a good programmer because she was a lesbian and wired a bit differently than other women?
Or did she turn lesbian because she was a nerdy programmer who couldn’t get dates?
Asking those questions is illegal and unconstitutional. Giving special privileges based on them is illegal and unconstitutional.
I never answer the optional questions.
Simply put, it was the most political, nastiest, most hateful working environment that I've ever been in. No violence, just constant catty sniping, 12-14 hours a day. It was like being with 50 people who were all auditioning for the part of "The Rude One" on a reality TV series.
Methinks, perhaps, that LGBTQRST people need to remember that when they point a finger at someone, three more are pointing back at themselves. I dunno about mental issues, I'd call it "Liberal Projection", namely, they can't stand themselves or others like themselves, so they assume everyone else feels the same way.
And, FWIW, The folks in the office mostly ignored me. Thought that I was a backwoods hick, until I saved them 10s of thousands of dollars by revamping some of their discarded computer equipment. All of a sudden, then, I was "OK, for someone who's not one of us". Approximately.
“What are HER thoughts at your POV that she has a mental disorder?”
She’s in therapy for other things, but I’m pretty sure her sexual preference is brought up. By the way, she isn’t LGBT.
“In the early 80s, we had a job applicant that was such a butch lesbian you could hardly tell she was not a man. She turned out to be a highly capable CICS programmer when we hired her.”
I bet it was the same person who I worked with at EF Hutton.
Keep it behind closed doors so you don’t scare the horses, and you won’t have any worries.
He went to work in a NURSING HOME, dressed as a woman? I’m amazed they settled. Only a complete idiot would hire a cross-dressing freak to work with senior citizens.
