Who believes that? (Note question mark.)
It left the door open for you to quote FReeper so-and-so or FReeper thus-and-such who opposes ALL regulations. You did not do so.
No one here believes that?
Really.
Reading comprehension is your friend. I ASKED who believes that; I did not state that no one here believes it, though it may well be the case.
There are amoral people who will try anything they think they can get away with. I like to think that you will find darned few of them here, unless they are trolls.
Thank you for your reasonable replies. Mr. Sakic deserves respect, since Mr. Sakic started membership at FR in 1999. However, his reasoning is sloppy and can be place into the Red Herring (”spewing”) and False Alternatives (”unlimited”) fallacies.
God the Father has built a tough atmosphere for us that volcanos can damage. Jews and Christians have the commandment to “protect” the atmosphere. Thus, all the worry about pollution from combustion engines and white styrofoam cups is unreasonable and silly. Remember: Mt. St. Helens poured more pollution into the air in 1981 in one hour than all humans in the last 10,000 years. The weather in San Francisco recovered in 1996 and fifteen years later. That is one tough atmosphere.
This thread is not about regulations, so it’s not a likely place to find those opinions. Posters of 5 and 16 sound like they would probably fit the bill, though.
In other threads it is easy to find, but I am not going to conduct a research project because it’s not worth the investment of time.
