Excellent response to an excellent essay.
The writer, Ronnie Cohen, is clear and reasonable. Yet while I was enjoying the essay I kept wondering, where is the father? Where is he? Why is the kid such a punk to a his mother and disrespectful of the house?
Christians make the best “stewards” of the earth and trust the Father to guard the ecosystems, zone layers, fluorocarbons and creeping things.

Good point - boys learn how to be men from their fathers. Some fine men have been raised by great mothers without the benefit of a father, but more often than not they end up with a child in the body of a man, like the foolish woman who wrote this article.

While eco-freaks can be nuts, the notion that we can spew as many toxins into the air and water as we want, and believe that Mother Nature will protect us, is equally nuts.
