Update through iTunes and there is no issue. I’m amazed this wasn’t reported by Apple’s #1 FR advocate.

3 devices. No problem now that speed issue (on one iPad) has been resolved.

I've been wondering who and when someone would pick up on this. I saw the report from Reuters on Thursday. . . and say it was people complaining about connection issues. iOS is NOT crashing on "downloading" the update to iOS 9. It merely says "Software Update Failed, An Error Occurred Installing iOS 9" because the servers were overloaded with multimillions of iOS users trying to download at the same time. Older iPhones have slower processors and take longer, which means they will have more of a tendency to time out. This was first reported by Reuters. No iPhones or iPads actually are "crashing" or locking up. Just the download stops. . . and they have to start over. The article points to FOUR, count'em, four complaining Tweets, without proof they actually come from iPhone users, out of millions of iPhone and iPad users. Reports say that by Thursday, 17% of all iOS users had already upgraded successfully. They were the same Tweets that were in the original Reuters report. SHEESH! PING!

Between my girlfriend and I, we updated five iOS devices with zero problems: two iPads, two iPhone 6es, and an iPhone 4s provided by her employer. We’ve run into zero problems in the software and everything is copacetic in the new features.

Just as in the other thread you started, I updated my iPhone 6 and the upgrade went flawlessly, and I am very happy with the upgrade.
And I still don't see a single Freeper mentioning a problem. It seems that the only people complaining about it here are people who don't even have Apple devices.
To: WhiskeyX
You only get the error if you don’t have enough memory. Those with 16gb phones loaded with apps will have a problem.

Works fine on all four of our devices..

Zilch problems on our homefront. Downloaded much quicker than last year’s iOS8.
The smell of FUD is in the air.
To: WhiskeyX
No problem with my iPod Touch or my iPad Air 2.
The problem is probably related to the fact that there are millions of devices upgrading to ios9. If even 1 out of 1,000 has issues, you’re talking about thousands of unhappy users.

Brother, this happens every time a new iOS strata is reached. I’m already annoyed with the left-right switching of various app commands. I find the new open apps tiling weird. It’s a bit buggy (not anywhere near ios7-8).
But am I going anywhere? No. The iPad is just my cup of tea, warts and all. And apparently I’m the only one really enjoying Apple Music streaming. I can’t give the three month free trial away to any apple user I know!

iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2 updated without issues. My old iPad 2 took hours, but also updated OK.
