I agree with you.
The videos are heinous enough without saying something that is easily refuted.
Carly is not my candidate, but I must say that I was touched by her passion when she made that statement. If she was faking it, she’s a darned good actress.
Agree. How could anyone with a soul not take in the totality of the CMP videos and conclude anything else. She was right, however lacking in specificity. These are atrocities we’re talking about here and not nebulous campaign “points of tortured fact” that can be used as shivs by opponents.
And on abortion, the pro-life Fiorina strongly denied that she would take action to outlaw abortions, as Boxer has said. "She knows very well that this is not true. There are no circumstances under which a woman in California would be denied an abortion California," said Fiorina. She also added that Boxer is trying to change the subject from her "extreme views" that "a baby does not have rights until it leaves the hospital."http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/boxer-and-fiorina-slug-it-out-in-debate
On Stem-cell research: Fiorina said she felt comfortable allowing federal funding to go to research using adult stem cells, as well as embryos that would have been destroyed otherwise. "It is when embryos are produced for the purposes of destruction, for the purposes of stem cell research that I have a great deal of difficulty," she said. Boxer did not address the question, which was directed to Fiorina. Source: Los Angeles Times coverage of 2010 CA Senate Debate , Sep 2, 2010
If embryos are created to be used for stem cell research, then she opposes it.
If they are being destroyed anyway (stem cell harvesting of aborted babies), then it sounds like she supported that in 2010.
Mainly by trying to pretend they don't exist.
Doesn’t matter...if she made a mistake it was one in favor of stopping the genocidal infanticide for profit which is taking place. This statement came in prime-time (around 9:00pm) with about 20 million people watching who had never even heard about this racket of death.
If it drives a few million people to the net to view or get informed about this baby parts for profit scheme and those who support it, and provide political cover for it to continue, then so be it. Mission accomplished...word is spread.
You seem to be nit-picking for reasons unknown. We are not in a court of law with this issue...yet. When that happens your point may be valid. Until then you are providing a smokescreen for the homicidal maniacs.
Lest we forget: The women didn’t get paid for the organs they made. But many other did profit from this mass murder for money. A few misplaced words DOES NOT CHANGE THAT !!!!

I can’t give Carley any credit because her speech was so obviously memorized and/or preprogrammed. She was the “hit man” for the Republican Establishment and is a loser in everything she has attempted. Part of our great problem today is awarding people for losing. I don’t go along with it. I was a woman in business in a man’s world and always got along just fine with the competition. I was respected because I was competent. Carley is not competent to run the United States of America. She had no business being on the stage. This stuff has to stop of supporting a woman just because she is a woman who stakes her claim to fame on a hot women’s issue. I give her no points at all.
That and misrepresentation. This feeds the misrepresentation meme.

Since Fiorina supports abortion for rape, incest, and life of the mother, what if the question to her were:
“Ms Fiorina, since you support abortion for rape, incest, and life of the mother, how do you prefer the babies of rape, incest, and life of the mother be killed while in the womb? Are you ok with those body parts being used for research?”
I would like to see EVERY candidate asked this question.
The follow-up could be to ask them to list the other crimes for which they support killing the children of the criminal.
Fiorina is pro-choice.
Please disregard my previous post.
I would like to see that as well.
I was impressed with Santorum last night. I’ve never seen that kind of charisma in him before.
In no way would I support her. My point is that she brought more attention to this evil in 2 minuets than has been paid to it in the last 2 months. That’s all.....
The leftists will never ask that question. In fact the panel of inquisitors last night backed out of that topic as quickly as they could when it dawned on them that this conversation was not going to help PP. Drowning out others
from making more points of fact on the matter.
Despite how she may have worded it, or her previous positions, the message got out to more people than before.
That's true, but I really don't think they want to take their case to the public and show the video to prove she was mistaken.
As an attorney I would only use the word misrepresentation if I thought that the statement was deliberately misleading. I think that is why this thread has generated so much debate. "misrepresentation" has a connotation of intent to deceive. I honestly don't think that Fiorina had any such intent.
She was MISTAKEN. It was an error, not a tactic.
