working dogs hunters etc. still have those smarts the house dogs probably fit this description. the article doesn’t differentiate from the various breeds so is a pile of crap. Brittany spaniels climb fences, etc. jack russel terriers still create terror.
My lab is smart enough to wait until we leave the house to investigate that loaf of nice bread that I mistakenly left on the counter. A wolf would just snatch it in front of me.
