I owe you a totally honest answer and it will further divide us, doubtlessly a gulf not to be bridged. As you stated, this thread is not about me but I'll respond to your queries forthrightly in all candor and without weasel words.

One can not be both. The intersection of the two yields the null set.

No. I do not. To elaborate just a bit more, I see him (and that group as a whole) as nothing more than something along the lines of anchor babies. At best, in the America I envision, adherents to that "faith" can possibly be subjects but not citizens.

I realize those replies are probably what you may have expected from me and you may disapprove of my intolerance. I have frequent (too frequent, IMHO) contact with them in our area and I clearly see them for what they are.

Yes, your attitude is reprehensible and un-American. In your mind, only Southern Baptists (or whatever your denomination is) can be American citizens. By extension, you think that Constitutional protections only apply to your particular religion. This is not the America the Founding Fathers created.
