Yes, and Irving in particular is quite the hotbed for Muslims. They built a huge mosque there about ten or so years ago and I think it was in expectation of drawing Muslims to Irving.
I don’t know the number or percentage but a lot of the house purchases in the last couple of years have been to Muslims.

Seriesly, she's taking on the fight in that suburb of Dallas. Under her leadership, crime is way down and school scores are way up. Her fearless stand against muzzies shows that Irving won't take any of their nonsense. It sure seems that Irving is headed in the right direction.
I visited the Irving mosque and know the imam. They plan to expand it, and they are very politically active. Unfortunately the former governor, Perry, coddled them and helped them get Texas halal laws established.
