They call Alabama the Crimson Tide...

Since this thread is attracting the best and brightest music experts and at least mentions football, let me pose this to the wise and winners of the world. I'm woefully out of touch with what passes for pop culture nowadays, what is the meaning of the song used in the B1G [insert number here] Maps commercial? The group performing is Guards -- never heard of them and the song is titled "Silver Linings". I don't see a connection with the music and the B1G conference (or even football), although it's a catchy little ditty.

Thank you for the kind words to all on the thread.

To answer your question... I don't know. I do well to keep up with the two teams I follow (University of Tulsa being the other) and their conferences, and I'm not familiar with the group you mention.

Patience, though, someone will come up with it. I'm not sure who's doing the college football ping list this year, or if anyone is now that we're talking about it.
