The daughter unit ended up blonde after her first two weeks of life as a redhead. Dunno how that works but it did... is saddled with German on her fathers side and Irish on her mothers.

I was suspicious of the offspring when I noticed the copper colored eyebrows after cleaned up and returned to me at birth. Birth hair was some nondescript brown. All fell out and here came the ginger business.
Hubby’s hair was the same color as the fair lady in this pic:
