I was suspicious of the offspring when I noticed the copper colored eyebrows after cleaned up and returned to me at birth. Birth hair was some nondescript brown. All fell out and here came the ginger business.
Hubby’s hair was the same color as the fair lady in this pic:

Sadly, now it’s just gray.
None more red. Damn.
Yeah, but a born redhead remains a redhead for life.
What I mean is that even if the hair is gray or a soft tabby color, it’s still a redhead underneath!
