“Why is enrollment down? Civil disobedience perhaps?”

I paid my fine. But according to the law, when I turn 65 the amount the government thinks I should have spent will be removed from my SS check for the length of they think I should have spent the money.

If the supreme court had not declared that the fine is actually a “tax”, such a practice might constitute double jeopardy...

Aren’t you eligible for Medicare at age 65? Because if you are, Part A is free (it’s the insurance you paid for); it’s the optional Part B and the Pharmaceutical program which you pay for.
