Senator Tom Cotton is blasting Senate Democrats from failing to block the Iran nuclear deal.
I am deeply disappointed by Senate Democrats' decision to block a vote on the Iran nuclear deal. I proposed an amendment to Corker-Cardin that would have guaranteed a vote, but it was rejected by Democrats because their goal all along was to deny Congress any vote or say on this deal. That's one reason why I ultimately voted against Corker-Cardin," reads Cotton's statement to the press.
Political fealty to President Obamas hoped-for legacy in foreign affairs means this dangerous deal will likely move forward, despite the overwhelming and bipartisan opposition to it in Congress and the clear will of the American people. Obstruction on the part of a minority of legislators is not the foundation on which lasting, consequential arms control agreements are built. A majority of Americans oppose the Iran deal because it compromises the safety and security of not only the United States, but also of the rest of the world.
History will remember this stunning display of partisan loyalty and willful blindness. And it will remember this Senate as the one that when given the chance to stop the worlds worst sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the worlds worst weapons blinked when confronted with that evil.
Hey, look at that! The ONE Senator that did NOT vote for this mess!!!
Every YES vote has to be exposed by name and in ads and voted out and that promise needs to be made by the American people now.
Put their names and pictures on billboards with the heading ‘TRAITORS!” Take out ads, call them out each and every one. They hide in the crowd, think they’re not accountable because the other traitors stand along side them.
Maybe have a different article every day on one the traitors. This is NOT business as usual, it’s a nuclear future.
So McCookoo didn’t have the gumption to use the nuclear option on the nuclear bill? Figures. He is always in Obummer’s pocket, or its it Obummer’s has his hand in Bitch’s pocket..
Corker is to blame for this farce.
And make no mistake, it has been a very dangerous farce.
After the next poll, someone will have remind him why Trump and Carsen got another bump in numbers.
Corker’s face needs to appear on a wanted poster/ The GOPe is just fine with this outcome. They just wish it wasn’t quite as obvious.
The “agreement” requires us to come to the aid of Iran if somebody(Israel) attacks their nuclear facilities. How is that not a treaty?
I voted for Mitt.
How many times has this been said the last few years.
We’ve been sold out and nobody in Washington cares.
His wife’s family may have business dealing with Iran. I think they are a big shipping company. Anyone know?
The meaning of is, is....
Corker is to blame, but so are those who voted for its passage and that includes Ted Cruz. Granted, his vote added to Cottons, would not have made a difference except that it would have been on record against this bill.
Along with the other 97 senaturds who voted for Corker's bill.
One of those senaturds happens to be named "Cruz".
Those TRAITORS will wind up hand delivering the very nuclear weapons that the Muslims will KILL THEM with !
Its very much a Republican noisemaking show in Washington.
Even Dick Cheney said the deal was bad, but there should be a better deal. So did Trump and Senator Bob Corker, among others.....
The GOP will use this against Dems in 2016 to elect more Boehner’s and McConnell’s.
Grassroots Conservatives either take out RINO’s in primaries or vote third party or write-in during general elections.
The GOPe is just fine with this outcome.
**************
The GOPe is just fine with stabbing its voters in the back and does not represent conservatives in any way, shape or form. What is the point of voting for anyone in the GOP? Haven’t we seen enough?
or vote third party or write-in during general elections

Works for me. Many continue to vote GOP in election after election and keep getting the same old non-results. There’s a word for that psychological condition.
