MATT FLYNN RELEASED BY JETS, PROMPTLY ORDERS SOME BREAKFAST VODKA

NFL quarterback Matt Flynn, best known for being the former backup to Aaron Rodgers, is officially unemployed and hitting the sauce.

Almost a month after being released by the Patriots to make room for Ryan Lindley (who has since been released as well) and just a few weeks since signing a one-year deal with the Jets, Flynn fell victim to the wave of NFL roster cuts on Saturday afternoon. And like any self-respecting American who has recently been fired, he immediately started drinking.

That’s what up! My man with the early morning bloody Mary at 8:38 AM sharp.

In all likelihood, Flynn will end up on another NFL roster. There are too many teams whose quarterback situation is tenuous at best and where depth is an issue. S**t, if the Arizona Cardinals season goes anything like it did last year, Matt Flynn could be starting for them by Week 10.

In the mean time though, if you see him around town, buy the dud

Brunch is not ususally thought of as 8 ish....and drinking is not the first reaction most people have to being fired

Again, it was Bloody Mary. He didn’t down a Bottle of Southern Comfort. I have probably had a Bloody Mary when Dining out for Breakfast a few times in my Life. No biggie.

My 92 Year Old Father was / is an Alcoholic with 13 Years of Sobriety. I’m not much of a Drinker myself because I witnessed first hand the damage it causes to the individual and Family. My Older Brother is the same way. We saw it all.

This is completely overblown IMHO, but to each his own.

The man had just lost his job. It was 8 in the morning. He wasn’t out for brunch or on holiday. His first response to being fired was to get a drink....

Now if you had responded the same way I would still suggest that that behavior is not what most folks do..Glad your dad finally got sober. Hope he uses all the tools available to him

The Bars in New York stay open until 4 AM.
In CA, it’s 2 AM and in Vegas, they never close.
Looks like we need to reinstate Prohibition.

People do what they do and I still don’t know if the guy had a Bloody Mary because he lost his Job or he just felt like having a Bloody Mary. nor do I care.

If he was trying to get drunk, downing a Bottle of Vodka would be much more productive than sipping a Bloody Mary. How much Tomato Juice can anyone drink without Puking or getting the Runs anyway?

It’s none of my Business and none of your Business. He is a grown Man who may or may not have a drinking problem.

Just write to him and tell him he is living a terrible Life and be done with it.

Going on and on with me is a waste of your time. I could not care less what the guy does. I never heard of him before this Thread. Sorry I even Posted a Comment.

Darn, now I’m craving a Bloody Mary. I’ll have to have one when I go to Vegas in a couple of weeks to play some Poker.

Have a good day.

That being said, it’s always 5 P.M. somewhere. LOL

I always felt sorry for the 5pm crowd.

It was noon at my house.

Funny, I was the one asking YOU not to Reply to ME. LOL

In fact, here is the quote from my last Post to you.

>>>Don’t need another Reply from you. We have different viewpoints which is what we do here on FR.<<<

Don’t know why you seem to have an attitude over something so silly. I would hope that we can just agree to disagree.

This will be my last Post to you regarding this Topic my FRiend. Take care.
