Perhaps I’m a cynic but I think he is being tossed because of his known association with Christianity.

Then why weren't quarterbacks like Kurt Warner and Matt Hasselbeck driven out of the game? They were vocal Christians who made no secret of their faith on and off the field. Reggie White and Mike Singletary were two more devoutly religions football players who had long and successful careers.

Tebow wasn't tossed because of his faith. He was tossed because he can't play game at the NFL level.

One hoped he could be acceptable to NFL owners and coaches; it appears he is not. I wonder what he will do?

I’ll tell myself that, and I’ll tell you that too.

Unfortunately most of the guys who play the final preseason game are pretty much going to be cut, coaches don’t want to risk injuring the guys who are going to make the team.

Why doesn’t he play in Canada, sharpen his skills...and then return?

Because with the larger field, the deeper end zones, and the separation between offensive and defensive lines football in Canada is even more of a passing game than in the U.S. Passing is not Tebow's strong suit.

They could have Tony Romo, but he's not a QB.

Fantasies are nice to have. But alas, they are just fantasies.

He can be picked up in case of injury. He is far better than Sanchez especially in that system.

Because his deficiencies as a quarterback (primarily throwing accuracy) could actually be magnified in the CFL. Since they have one less down, passing accuracy is probably the most important thing for a QB in that league.

Geeeez...that stinks and the only reason I’d watch is to root for a one of the ‘faithful’.

Looking forward to Adam Schein’s comments...

...he’s my new sports recap fix since Olberman departed from E2.

...as an aside, Tim Tebow has been added to my ‘alibi decade’ in hopes that it Gods will that he be picked up and prosper.

He gave up a gig with the SEC channel; maybe he can get that back. Regardless, Tebow is the kind of person who will make a mark in almost any endeavor he puts his mind to. Except pro football.

Same with the Steelers. A competent coaching staff too.

On but we got Vick...and deer in the headlights Tomlin.

He also has a 47% career completion percentage. Not a very good indication of his ability to play at the pro level.

If you say so.

I realize that it won't change your opinion but I had to try.

Which is exactly what John Elway’s was his first season.

100%...

you could get caught crawling over your dyeing mother to rape your prepubescent mongoloid sister and they'd still turn a blind eye, but a Christian? well.... don't need none of them

What will the Iggles do when Bradford goes back on the crutches?

The only thing I can think of that that with Bradford's health history and Sanchez's erratic play the Eagles thought they needed more talent at third string than Tebow could provide.
