What you said about the GOPe is true. Without Trump in the race, odds are overwhelming they’d have found a way to force Jeb onto us. Then they’d do their usual damned-in-hell victory dance, i.e.: ‘you have to vote Jeb or you’ll get Sanders (or whoever).’

The Dem/GOP Uniparty establishment was all set to run the same old game on us, as they always do, until Trump showed up and derailed the theft of yet another presidential election.

If not for him, The Plan would be proceeding apace, and we'd all be quietly (but fearfully) steeling ourselves for Jeb to 'win' the nomination.

As you said, the GOP-e was probably quite willing to watch as he went down to defeat even worse than Romney and McCain did. All so that they and their friends could continue the wholesale dismantling and auction sale of the greatest nation on earth.

I don't think I can ever adequately thank that unlikely hero, Donald Trump, for stepping in and putting a stop to that treason.

Again, couldn’t agree more. What we are up against—and what we seemed incapable of surmounting pre-Trump—is a simply mind boggling level of corruption. That came home to me when I watched the GOPe STEAL the MS runoff between TEA party candidate Chris Daniel and senile GOPe fixture Thad Cochrin. The GOPe employed illegal tactics against Daniel that would make the average Dem blush. It was simply staggering.

From then on I have seen it as a life and death struggle between both Dems AND the GOPe. Unfortunately, all the ammo was on the side of the people who have spent decades consolidating money and power in D.C.

Suddenly Trump put a w e a p o n in our hands. A powerful, fully functioning w e a p o n. Now we can fight back against the GOPe juggernaut. Count me in for that.

I do really like, btw, the fact that Trump and Cruz have held mmultiple ‘secret’ meetings, and have clearly reached an accommodation. Trump never has a bad word to speak about Cruz, and the latter has been lavish in his praise of Trump. If this portends a future team effort, the Trump/Cruz juggernaut would be a thing to behold.
