Saw the punch. A second or two later heard two pistol rounds go off. Half a second later maybe three more pistol rounds. Dropped to the ground. Within a second or two it was like Viet Nam.

Now, how did Waco PD get out of their cars from behind DC or a football field away in the big parking lot to get in on Viet Nam?

I think once Richard Luther hit the deck his 'recollection' of what was taking place becomes somewhat impaired.

For instance he was still in high school when the Vietnam War ended...how is he supposed to know what it sounded like?

The key take away for me is he heard five pistol shots before any rifle fire.

Your 42: Upon a second listen...he states that the rifle fire commenced a “half second” after the pistol fire.

Not only have you falsified your 42 but you forgot to put in the part where he froze looking at his fallen brother before he hit the deck.
