There are a lot of smart people on FR. Some are VERY familiar with classified documents.

QUESTION: Can anyone give an example, even a hypothetical one, where information written in an unsecured email can be unclassified two years ago, but today is instantly classified? How does that work? Regardless of how it is labeled, if the content was deemed "open" two years ago, how is it classified today?
