I'm not willing to call Griffin a bust. Snyder and his coaches are more busts. Besides these injuries, he has had to battle against two coaches that may be smart, but were doing stupid things. Either Snyder should have let him be traded, or Gruden shouldn't have take the job. Griffin is not blameless, but he's young. The owner and coaches have more responsibility. The Redskins will have to get real lucky to ever win with Snyder as the owner.
NFL Head Coach on Jay Gruden Leaving RG3 in Game: 'It Looks Personal to Me'

I agree, although it seems that Snyder has actually been (attempting, at least) more hands-off when it comes to personnel issues. He made his fortune in telemarketing back in the day when it was a hot industry, and I'm one of the countless who saw his buying of the team as nothing but a fanboy getting the ultimate shiny new toy. The franchise should have stayed in the Cooke family. My beef with Griffin is, he's like a boxer with a glass jaw. He might do some brilliant things, but he gets busted up too easily. Given the right coach, he may stay healthy and be productive, but I think Gruden and Allen have pretty much decided that he's gonna warm the bench until they trade him or he's otherwise needed. Cousins and McCoy are competent - at least average - and one of them may develop enough to get this team above .500.
