You know, they never really have been right again after those two bombs. They deserved it, but we really messed them up psychologically. My personal opinion is that all of the atrocities committed by Japanese troops before and during our part of the war caused their entire society to be sickened, and that it has still not recovered. No way to prove that, of course, but that's what I think.

Interesting. Ted Cruz enters a giant toilet every day the Senate is on session, so I imagine he knows how these Japanese kids feel.

Interesting. Ted Cruz enters a giant toilet every day the Senate is on session, so I imagine he knows how these Japanese kids feel. Wrong, he enters a sewer.

The Japanese, while having many admirable traits, are such weirdos.

I love Japan. If I could go, I would. As crazy as it is, it’s saner than America 2015.
That said, I once read the best description of it I don’t think can be topped. Paraphrased...
You know that scene in Roger Rabbit where Eddie Valiant is outside Toontown, he looks over the fence and sees all sorts of insanity and chaos flying through the air, explosions etc?
That’s Japan.

sliding into a giant replica toilet while wearing hats designed to resemble human feces. I wonder if they got to keep the hat?
