Hadn't thought of it that way. Prepping I suppose should involve more than one use for an item. ;-)
I always prep in three. Sometimes when something is critical like water, I prep in four (well, spring, rain, ram pump).
Coffee? That was 5 different backups.

What’s a ram pump?
Got the well, but not a hand pump so still need electricity or propane for the generator. A creek is across the street, but it is seasonal and water would have to be hauled 100’ up hill.
