Oscar Jimenez, 40, was working at Tibbett Diner nearby when the blast happened. At a press conference held by the Mayor and the Fire Department Jiminez said “My name is Oscar J. Jiminez. But you can call me Jose...”

Ravi Shenoy with Shenoy Engineering applied in May to provide gas connections from the basement to the sixth floor science lab, according to Department of Buildings records.
Any H1B’s involved?

When visited in the hospital, he said, “See? I told them there was a leak. I showed them right where it was.” But since he said it in Spanish, nobody understood him.

I used to work at a refinery that had a chemical plant adjacent that made mercaptans. My office was in the chemical plant office building. It was pretty amazing how bad that can smell when they are loading the railcars. And they have all sorts of controls on the loading, etc. to keep the leakage of the chemicals to near nil. Very strong chemicals, mercaptans. I don’t think I would want to be around if there was a leak of them, anywhere... But, unbelievably, you do get “used to it” to a certain extent. We kept apples in our cars, as they would absorb the smell...

I worked in a plant that was full of automatic transmission fluid. Every night upon coming home my wife would have me put my work clothes right into the washer.

Yeah. Its called mercaptan. It stinks and itll burn your eyes in high concentration. if it gets that bad, run like Hell. And if it's dark, use a flashlight. If you don't have a flashlight, just take out your Bic lighter and...oh wait.
