Typically when a Republican plays rock music at their rallies, the recording artists squawk and complain. For example, Bruce Springsteen threw a hissy fit when Ronald Reagan played "Born In The USA" and the rock band Heart got upset when Sarah Palin played "Barracuda."

The Republicans usually back down in these situations even though this music is licensed with ASCAP which allows anybody to publicly play the music at events so long as the appropriate royalties are paid.

I can't wait for one of them to challenge Donald Trump on this. I can guess what his reaction would be!

No problem if they do, Charlie Daniels, "In America" would fit and CBD might go on tour to entertain the crowd.....
