This sure is going to “offend” the God haters.
Did he genuflect and give thanks?! I hope so!
Great! So glad the Eagles are giving him a chance. The NFL can give the criminal element multiple chances, but a witnessing Christian is too risky to handle.
I like that kid!
Miles Austin looked decent, too. Too bad DeMarco Murray didn’t play.
Tebow’s problem, per the sportscasters, was taking too long to evaluate the situation and get rid of the ball. It wasn’t helped by playing behind a porous offensive line.
Six of twelve for sixty plus yards and nineteen more rushing. Sounds like no turnovers. Not too bad but probably playing against defensive players down roster. But still, not bad.
Sounds like Tebow had a phenomenal day. Glad to hear it and hopefully he continues to work his way up the depth chart to starting QB.
Cleveland needs a QB-— Johnny Foosball just aint gonna cut it.
It just shows how much fans really love a winner by them standing by him after 2 years of being incognito.
What a class act Tebow is!
Really hope he makes the team.
He obviously hasn’t heard from the experts how badly he sucks.
I watched part of the game and the Eagles looked very good (glad my Chargers don’t play them this year).
Problem for Tebow is that Barkley (the other qb going for the third spot) looked very good.
Maybe they should dump Sanchez?
on the field. that’s the best way to serve up the crow (and there’s alot of crow to be served up for critics on this site). God continue to bless you Tim, no matter what you do.
It will be nice to watch some games again.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as Philadelphia Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
(Okay, I borrowed "Philadelphia" from the book of Revelation.) :-)
Good news :)
So he has worked on his game and it appears to be paying off. Good for him! Godspeed, Tim Tebow.
But to say the NFL hated him is a stretch. Robert Kraft and the hated Patriots gave him a real chance and Tebow came up way short.
Nice to see he didn’t give up but instead worked on his dream.
Tebow played the whole second half. Interestingly enough every snap was from the shotgun. His first series looked pretty good - 4 for 4 for about 50 yards. He moved the ball well, made several good passes, and seemed a changed man. After that it was the same old Tebow. He was 2 for 8. Even playing out of the shotgun he was sacked three times, though one was negated by a late hit penalty. He didnt look like he was reading defenses well. He looked like a third string quarterback. A borderline third string quarterback.
Just saw the highlights on ESPN.
A leader. Right on.
Tebow had the 4th string offensive line and was sacked and hurried many times. Happily he took the sacks and avoided an interception (kiss of death). The running touchdown shows exactly what is expected of him.
