When I moved to where I’ m living right now (22 years ago), there were cottontails, jackrabbits and Gamble’s quail all over the place. They are all gone now. You may see a cottontail, a young one, every now and then before a coyote scores it. Da ecosystem now consists of only bubonic plague infected rats and prairie dogs and hanta virus infected field mice. Thanks environazis! Good job!
The sad thing is, they are proud of their “accomplishments” and see nothing wrong.
But most of them live in cities and never see the fruits of their labors.
Anyway, they are too busy working on the next great crusade.
