It goes behind the wing as it overtakes the aircraft, so to me that rules out a camera anomaly.

It goes behind the wing as it overtakes the aircraft, so to me that rules out a camera anomaly.

I look at that and the anomaly and the color of the wing are so close that you really can't say one way or the other. This is a digital zoom video and noise makes it very difficult to say one way or the other.

One thing that would argue against it is that the plane is not really the intended object of the video. . . on the other hand, it still may be an artifact for that reason in that the lensing reflection/distortion is an unintended function of the system caused by the motion of the aircraft reflecting off of a lens with a greater curve inside then reflecting back, accelerating it at a two for one rate.
