Union member organization condemns UAW for long-standing ties with Planned Parenthood

Ypsilanti, Mi.) – August 4, 2015 – Terry Bowman, president and founder of Union Conservatives, Inc., UAW member, and former US Congressional Candidate in Michigan’s 12th district, today blasted UAW officials for their long-time relationship with America’s premier Abortion provider. Union Conservatives is demanding that the UAW condemn and sever all ties with Planned Parenthood, and to apologize to its membership for using worker’s money to promote the organization.

“Unfortunately today we observed the fifth stomach-churning video released from the Center for Medical Progress that has clearly shown Planned Parenthood to be a harvester of baby parts and organs for profit. Unions like the UAW have been using workers money to both promote the organization, and to donate funds to Planned Parenthood,” Bowman said to supporters this morning. Federal LM-2 records show donations to Planned Parenthood by the UAW, as well as other unions.

“Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, was the keynote speaker at the UAW’s 2012 convention. Then president Bob King praised Ms. Richards and Planned Parenthood in a clear indication that the UAW is using worker’s money to promote the organization. Most autoworkers will be horrified when they learn that their money is being used by union officials to promote this incredibly evil organization. All Michigan autoworkers should exercise their Right to Work protections and sever their union membership at the earliest possible date after the contract expires on September 15th, 2015.”

Bowman also calls out the UAW’s Chaplaincy Committee to fight against the union as well. “For all the Chaplains in each UAW local, you have a Godly duty to condemn the UAW for its relationship with Planned Parenthood. If you choose not to speak up due to internal politics, than you should immediately resign from your position.”

Union Conservatives is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization formed in 2010.
