Fighting hard to resurrect his NFL career, the Christian quarterback...
Without explanation or elaboration, a sports writer for the CBS affiliate in the City of Brotherly Love called Tim Tebow the most polarizing Philadelphia Eagle in an article that goes on to share the surprising opinion of one of Tebows teammates who claims the quarterbacks play will shock a lot of people.
Of course, one can imagine what writer Andrew Porter may have had in mind when offering that most polarizing comment about Tebow the NFL players proudly promoted Christianity as well as the trepidation of a lot of fans about the Eagles wisdom in bringing Tebow on board. His professional play, after all, has been spotty and unpredictable.
However, Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham, in an interview for a Detroit radio station, says that Tebow will be a factor in Philadelphias upcoming season, as CBSPhilly reports:
Tim Tebow is going to shock a lot of people, because he is going to make the team, Graham told Detroit radio host Lauren Beasley, And I think he will play a lot.
Hoping to resurrect his NFL career, Tebow has been working hard in the off-season, training with various instructors and at a number of facilities as he has focused on improving his mechanics and his strength.
CBS Sports just posted on its YouTube channel a 14-second video showing Tebow powering through what is termed a strange leg workout one that drew a lot of comments on the Twitter feed of the sports performance center that caters to the elite athlete, Performance Enhancement Professionals (PEP).
Below is the amazing video of Tebows incredibly challenging leg routine that could well mean knee-busting disaster for someone not in great shape. Then, check out some of the tweets from folks who couldnt believe what they were seeing in the brief clip, all comments coming from the PEP Twitter feed.
Before joining the Philadelphia Eagles, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner was a QB for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets. Hes been out of pro ball for a couple of years.
NFL Ping!...............

“Even though I’m a Cowboys fan...”
You are a very wise and good person.
I hope he succeeds until the Buccaneers beat the Eagles in the NFC Championship and go on to the Super Bowl...
Like!
The Jameis Winston era is about to begin!
Broncos should have kept Tebow and let him understudy to Payton.
Even though Im a Cowboys fan...
You are a very wise and good person.”
Otherwise I would have to assume that you are a very wise and good person because you are on FR.
But will he play quarterback?
With the Bucs new QB? Old Free Crab Legs?..........................
Yes, and possibly RB as well........................
Don't tell anyone, but the Bucs will be lucky if they improve from 2-14 to 6-10 this year. Beyond that depends on whether Jameis can become an NFL-level quarterback, if the offensive line can harden up, and if the team could get at least two RBs and WRs who can hold on to the ball and avoid getting injured.
FREE CRAB LEGS FOR EVERYBODY!.....................
IOW, all the Bucs need is two things:
An Offense and a Defense.......................
*yawn*
I’ll let his performance on the field speak.
I hate titles like that...
“Idiot Hipster Drinks Drano - YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!!!”
“His professional play, after all, has been spotty and unpredictable.”
All he could do well was win, be a leader, electrify a city, and turn a losing season around.
I want the guy to rub lots of peoples noses in the ground. Hard. I know of few people that got so much crap so undeservedly from people that should have supported him. Palin probably. But thats it.
If he succeeded they will all naturally have excuses. But they will KNOW they were wrong.
A replay of 2002?
First week of NFL pre-season starts two weeks from today (after H of F game on August 9).
Pre-season can sometimes be interesting, particularly how rookie, or other backup QBs might do. This year we have:
Tebow at Philadelphia
McCarron at Cincinatti
Winston at Tampa Bay
Manziel at Cleveland
Mariota and Mettenberger at Tennessee
And maybe even RG3 at Washington
And other players
