The rise in unrestrained liberalism/leftism coincided with the rise in "recreational" drug us. They say correlation is not causation, but my two most liberal siblings were also the two biggest pot users.

Still proves nothing you say? You might be right. But nevertheless, I'll wager far more libs are heavy rec drug users than conservatives.

And Democrats drink the cheap stuff too. In Democrat controlled eastern Connecticut where I grew up they would buy Steel Reserve, Olds English, and Colt 45’s in large quantities every payday. I didn’t know until I got older what cheap garbage those drinks are.
