West TN, close to Memphis. Should be fun!
I’ll try to be there!
I called the local radio station to verify the information. The Host Frankie Laxx is putting Free Republic on his homepage. :)
Hope you can be. I’ve got tickets for hubby and me.
Hoping to see him in Huntsville, AL the day before.
Do you know Frankie? I’ve known him since at least 1982.
I hope I can go to the event. I’m going to try.
This should really be fun. Glad your getting to see him, too. :)
I met him years ago. Knew his dad, also. Listen to his program occasionally. Hope you can be there. If a few of us Freepers can attend, maybe we can meet and introduce ourselves.
Looking forward to it.
Jackson is half white, half black... and has about 25% below the so-called poverty line.
a good place for Cruz to visit, but...
I have to recommend... when you’re trying to get votes and campaign volunteers.................it is counter-productive to impose an admission charge.
there are lots of people who would attend and possibly work for the campaign.... but will not be there due to the admission fee.
(going to fundraisers is different.... you expect to have to pay there....but I thought the R party would try to ‘reach out’ to all Americans this time?)
just saying.
Jackson,TN is 80 before Memphis but its still 5 hours from my house..
the Jackson Center, 600 Genome Way, Huntsville, AL at 7pm CST on Sunday, August 9 is much closer to me..just over 2 hours..
Plus its free..
is Ted Cruz going to be anyway else in TN ???
I’m near Chattanooga, 300 miles from Memphis..
They say they can’t have a free event for a candidate until the party has selected the nominee.
Jackson,TN is miles 80 before Memphis
He will surely make other campaign stops in the area. I recommend checking his website tedcruz.org for updates.
the one in Huntsville is free
Awesome! Will be there if I can make it!
Sounds fun, If I’m off that day I might go. Only a two hour drive.
Lucky you. This event is sponsored by the TN Republican Party.
