INDIANAPOLIS -- The city’s largest bank is closing branches on the city’s north and west sides, but some groups are crying foul.
The Chase bank at 29th and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. streets will close Aug. 20 and the branch at 38th Street and Washington Boulevard will close at the end of July.
Both branches serve heavily concentrated minority communities.
Some members of the city’s minority community have complained to members of the Indianapolis City-County Council and Congressman Andre Carson about the closures.

The local racialists screamed that the Crackers were trying to "gentrify" the neighborhood, drive up property values and drive out minorities.
Whole Foods withdrew the proposal.
Now the complaint is that they live in a food desert. Da Man won't open a grocery store 'cause he raciss!
You go to the bank to get money for that’s where the money is.
You flee from the ghettos because that’s where the money ain’t and they will kill you for it.
The best way to solve the problem of closing unprofitable businesses in minority ares is not to open them there in the first place. That will be the solution and then they’ll be yelling racism,too.

If Chase gets their hand slapped for closing these branches maybe they will think twice before opening a minority community branch in the future.

Actually, that’s close. Imagine the opportunity for a minority bank to get the branches for a song and serve their own community. Instead of bitching, they should be pitching.
About 2 decades ago I worked for a bank and I reviewed loan applications. Two examples that still stick out were two thug NFL players each making over $700,000 per year. Neither one could pass a budget and were close to bankruptcy. Needless to say they didn’t get their money LOL!
Another now “Hall of Fame” NBA player got a car repo’ed since he could cover the payments.

I was recently in northwestern Indianapolis in the vicinity of I65-I465-I895 triangle. The Bob Evans restaurant had a sign that it was only open from 6am to 2pm. the TIGF, Taco Bell, and a couple of other restaurants in the area were all closed as well as several other stores. It looks like the entire area is in an economic downturn.
Met a guy once with a super bowl ring whose loan was in collections.

You would be amazed at how computer savvy a lot of minorities are. They use their phones all the time to video their friends and take selfies, then they upload them to Facebook. Even little kids ten years old.

When you have to drive to your place of employment in a tank in order to make it safely there, it is time to close the location......both of the locations mentioned are disaster areas and it is the fault of the residents.....not racist whites.....it isn’t safe.
