to being undecided because Cruz IS that voice of calm and political maturity that Trump is not, yet Trump is the voice of the kid you don't like because he's loud and egotistical ... but damn ... he's right

But if Trump doesn't flame out, it won't be for lack of trying. It will be because America is so enraged by what has gone on for the last 8 years and Trump has tapped that anger.
If he does somehow lose those angry Americans, he a goner.
If Trump does flame out, I think Cruz will inherit the angry American vote.
As a Freeper said earlier today (I paraphrase), every time Trump says something that would cost any other candidate his chance, Trump simply goes higher in the polls.
I think very highly of Cruz, but he has one weak spot; he isn’t financially independent. We must have Trump for the first 8 years. Then 8 years of Cruz will be doable.
