Not under any president! The last thing we want is armed active duty military in America's streets. These Marines are on recruiting duty, not overseas in combat or even on their bases in training. I understand your frustration, but if we end up with standing armies in our streets, then the terrorists will have won.

The sign would not have mattered in this case. The gun(s) were fired from the outside. What a tragedy. It is going to be interesting to see what he background on the shooter(s) is.

What I've seen so far says two different shooters at two different facilities attacking at the same time.
I've also seen a statement that the incident is over - over because the murderers are in custody, or dead, or what?

When the shooting victims’ phones don’t ring they know it was Obama.
They were in a military office doing a military function. As such they are now a domestic target of foreign and domestic terrorist groups. Keeping at least sidearms should be allowed even off duty especially in Uniform of the day. The idea that the military has to lock up all it’s small arms weapons is a newer idea evolving from the 1900’s. Remember when our nation was founded it was Bring Your Own Weapon.
Fox is still reporting that the four deaths remain unconfirmed.
Many early reports in these kind of events often end up wrong.
