I was freeping and not paying attention to that last fight but sounded like some painful scorecards, 30-25? Damn. From what I saw it looked like the guy was just laying on the other guy.

I read he was too I would make a bid for the jersey but if you ask me they look horrible and I think its a slap in the face to the MMA brands like Tapout

No one but the UFC brass has anything good to say about it. They say it costs most fighters a significant amount of sponsorship money. I hope it’s not a disaster.
Less variety also hurts entertainment value. No more Xbox trunks for Mighty Mouse or BK if the Spider ever comes back.

One of the most exciting strikers in the game. Wonderboy has impressed with how he’s improved his wrestling too, he initially had none.
I really think he could be champ one day.

Thompson could be a contender if he keeps on improving his grappling. It is hard to fight a guy like him because few training partners can effectively replicate his style.
Lest we forget , when he came into MMA, GSP had no wrestling.
After he lost to Matt Brown in his first big test, Wonderboy was out for 13 months, came back and effectively employed wall and stall in his next fight!
So, Dana White pulled this out of his butt, Conor and Faber are coaching the next TUF, Team Euro V. Team America. But they WILL NOT fight each other after, Conor will face Aldo likely in JANUARY with Faber fighting on the same card.
That’s a long time from now, longer than Aldo needs to heal a bum rib I would think. Another fight delayed and fighters taken off the shelf for months because of reality TV.
All this promotion of McGregor and they’re having his fights 6 months apart.

I really like MacGregor but he needs to get better at his grappling and ability to get back out.
I think Aldo ran scared and MacGregor will beat him. A Mendes rematch, given ample time, might result in a different kind of win.
I read somewhere over the weekend that White said that Aldo’s rib isn’t broken, he skipped the fight because he couldn’t make weight.
I read that article too. The broken rib was a healed area from a previous injury, although Aldo’s doctor insisted otherwise.
Aldo, has had trouble making weight in the past, so I would tend to believe the story. Plus, it really appeared to me that Conor was really getting to Aldo.
Finally, this allows the UFC to have a mega event for the last December PPV (which is usually a major) or the big PPV on Super Bowl weekend Saturday.
