Wait a minute. If that book doesn't credit the great Chinese maritime explorer Zhang He with discovering America during his seven voyages at the behest of the Emperor of China, who does the author thinks did it? I cannot tell from the Amazon synopsis.

Nowhere in Zhang He's explorer journals does he mention sailing the Pacific or Atlantic off the Americas. His furthest expedition made it to Mombasa, Kenya.
