Well, it certainly looks like something DID happened prior. First, he is right on her back as she walks up to the bar, apparently saying stuff to her. Then he apparently puts his hands on her. Check out 13-14 seconds into vid how she suddenly reacts to something he does.
Actually if you watch the video you can see he is actually talking to the black girl to his left and is trying to make his way to the bar between her and the white girl.
I only saw the video this morning, not sure if a longer version is out there. If so I will look.
Not justifying his actions by any means. Hate FSU so I have no skin in that game. I have long been in favor of the same set of rules & standards of conduct for men & women. If he touched her in an inappropriate way, she had every right to react physically. But if she reacted to words, no matter how obscene, with a slap, it is a different story.
We can’t have it both ways.
