Read the obituary of recently deceased actor Patrick Macnee.
His father was a drunken racehorse trainer who abandoned his family and ran off to India when he was very small. His mother then decided that she was a lesbian and took in a live-in lover named “Uncle Evelyn”. Uncle Evelyn determined to “make a woman” out of young Patrick and forced him to wear dresses. He fought against this and, as a compromise, was eventually allowed to wear kilts.
How that man ever turned out to be an apparently normal human being is beyond me.
