I don’t think you can get the ‘wild’ out of them just by a few generations of domestication. It would take breeding with a domesticated cat, like the Savannah is bred:

Meh
Happy now? lol
Cute as can be, I want one almost as much as I want a pet Lynx. Bobcat maybe...I’m a photographer, somewhere I have some shots of a bobcat and a couple of almost grown young not far from where I sit, only chance I’ve had. I’ll have to dig a little. With over 1000 posted on Flickr that ain’t easy...
I’m a cat guy, have a black kitty apparently abandoned by her mother, had to be bottle fed for over a month, that young, turned into a pure monster...hates everybody, sometimes I think she hates me too...my niece calls her Sybil...my sister calls her cat from hell...
OK I’m fairly new here so I don’t know if this will get me in trouble, but I dug around a little and found them, my only chance at a shot of one of my favorite cats, Bobcat. If you look close, one of the young is to her left. Now to see if this works right...if not I’ll try again and do the HTML thing...

Those who are interested can check out a lot of other pretty decent shots I’ve taken of birds, wildlife, insects and flowers (yeah I’m plugging my photography)

Hope that’s not unacceptable...
