The problem I have with the NRA is that they keep asking me to renew my membership (regularly) long before my membership term is up.
I know they need the money, but that is dishonest...and you know a lot of regular folks fall for it.

There are also several NRA organizational levels, and it gets very confusing which one you are talking to: national, state, regional? I stopped trying to figure it out, and just give to conservative orgs I trust and who don’t obfuscate.

Why is it dishonest?
When you renew it extends your membership for whatever length of time you pay for.
It’s not like they’re trying to trick you in to paying twice for the same time period.
