NBC wants to play hardball? EVERYONE do NOT turn to any channel with NBC on it.

What would be more effective is to simply stop watching TV.

I don’t watch NBC, but if this is over dropping Donald Trump, there may be some FCC requirement since he announced his run for President. Huckabee gave up his show on Fox in preparation for his run.

Over Donald Trump?

I quit watching NBC long before then, when they began attacking actual conservatives.

I rarely watch NBC. I hate the “Today” show.

No cable and proud of it.

Had the bleeding heart liberal in-laws at our house for the weekend and they wanted to watch MSNBC.

No cable, no luck for them and me. So my FIL made the quip - guess your house doesn’t get liberal TV. I responded - Damn right!

NBC is furthering the agenda of the leftists big-time now. I haven’t watched ANY broadcast television for 23 years. All people who care about this nation should quit watching broadcast TV. Kill them where the advertising hurts.

I just heard a report that Netflix actually has more viewership than ABC and CBS combined [estimating almost 70 million subscribers by the end of the year].

They have developed around a dozen original series the last 2-3 years.

They could kill ‘commercial-supported’ TV/cable/satellite.

I keep about a hundred movies and a couple dozen TV series in my queue. Not bad for $8.00/month.

Mrs. POP is watching it right now in the other room. First time it’s been on in a couple of years. Probably will not be on in our house for at least two more years. You want me to tell her she can’t watch it?

In what way could this possibly hurt NBC? In fact, it would have no effect at all. No one would ever notice.

Eastforker, you are correct. If NBC does something offensive, the effective response is to watch NBC only enough to see what companies are advertising there.

Then write those companies polite, but firm, letters. Tell them you will not buy their products as long as they advertise on NBC. Those letters will get their attention, and might make a difference.

I can’t join the boycott because I quit watching NBC/CBS/ABC/MSNBC/etc many years ago. Besides, every show is 24/7 homo agenda.

We quit watching broadcast TV 23 years ago. Period.

NBC is usually the lowest rated of all the the big three or four networks. I don’t watch it at all. But of people I know who watch, only the show Blacklist and sports, particularly NFL Football, are all that is watched. Maybe a few golfers and sports car enthusiasts need to stop, but it’s not football season yet so I doubt they will notice people are not watching. They already don’t watch.
