I am pretty confident that Trump will not carry out whatever populist or conservative promises he makes. He is at best left of center, and more interested in promoting his business interests. I am sure his campaigns speeches will be full of promotions for his hotels/golf courses e.t.c.

As Sarah Palin remarked in the 2012 election year, you don't just get up one morning and announce you are a conservative, when all the rest of you life did not match that announcement. There are no deeply held convictions or principles.
